Fiscal policy and economic growth prospects in Poland in the light of theory

Statement in the discussion at the meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the Council of Ministers.
I will only briefly mention two points. The first is a reflection on new theories of growth: how they differ from classical theory and what this difference what results from this difference for a country like Poland. The second issue is the chances of realising the optimistic scenarios presented in Professor Welfe’s paper.
