Functioning of tourist municipalities on the example of the town of Karpacz
In this paper we will be concerned with the characteristics of a tourist town, its differences and specifics. In addition to satisfying the needs of the inhabitants, the purpose of the tourist industry is also to meet the needs of the local population.
The tourism economy is primarily based on widely understood service activities, including hotels, travel agencies, travel agencies, tourist advertising agencies, tourist information agencies, etc.
All these types of service activities play a dominant role in generating income for a tourist town. They also constitute a specific feature distinguishing these cities from others.
Obviously, in order for a town to gain the status of a tourist destination, it should have attractive and distinctive environmental, landscape whether in the form of clean lakes, mountains, mountain ranges, areas of valuable forests in an area with low environmental pollution or areas of interesting and relaxing nature.
