Student research activity: Vernon L. Smith

On 9 October 2002, Vernon L. Smith and Daniel Kahnemann received the Nobel Prize in Economics. Vernon L. Smith was recognised for introducing the method of experimentation as a tool of empirical research applied to economic analysis the field of economic sciences for his introduction of the experimental method as a tool for empirical research in economic analysis, as well as for his research on alternative mechanisms in economic research.
